%O 解説：続縄文時代前半期は文化の地域色が目立つ時期であったが、後期になると全道一円に斉一的な文化が拡がるようになる。後北C2・D式土器はこの時期の土器で、北海道全域に分布するほか、東北地方など、本州でも出土が確認されている。

%O Comment：During the first half of the Early Epi-Jomon period there seemed to be regional colors, but in the latter half, a uniformity of the archaeological culture arouses in Hokkaido. Kohoku C2-D type pottery of the latter period spread not only throughout Hokkaido, but also across the Tohoku region of Honshu.
