資料の解説: 英国人教師Edward Kinch（1848-1920）が行った農事修学場（後に農学校と改称）での講義を、同校二期生の大内健（1864-1894。農商務省から文部省に移り、高等師範教授となって農学会の創立に携わった）が書き留めた手書きのノート。Kinchは明治10年（1877）の農学校開校より、無機化学、有機化学などを教え、日本に初めて農芸化学を導入した人物として知られています。帰国後は英国王立サイレンセスター農学校の教官に就任しました。
