渋江保自筆の原稿を鴎外が1冊に綴じた本。『渋江抽斎』執筆のため、鴎外が年譜の作成を求めた(大正4年(1915)11月4日付渋江保宛書簡)のに応じて、抽斎の息子渋江保が執筆した。内容は文化2年(1805)の抽斎1歳から、安政5年(1858)の54歳までの年譜であり、一部に鴎外の書入れが見られる。編年体を取る「渋江抽斎」は、本書に大きく依拠する。(出)
