解説：9号竪穴では竪穴中央部で2か所の炉（炉a・bと炉c）が検出された。これは二つのうちの北側に位置する炉cで、9c号竪穴に伴うものと判断された。石組みの炉で、一辺約1.3mの正方形を呈する。写真手前が東側。

comment：In Pit House 9c, two hearths were found around the center of the pit house (Hearths a and b, and Hearth c). This photograph shows Hearth c to the north side of the other Hearths a and b, and belongs to Pit House 9c. It is lined with stones forming a square measuring about 1.3 m. The front of the photograph is the east side.
