内容記述: Join for Home Defence.The Government has sent out a call for 50,000 men for the Defence of Canada, and one battalion of 1000 men is to be raised in Kingston and surrounding countries.This appeal is for country men.In Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, &c.Train in camp for 14 weeks and by serving at home release an overseas man who is now held in Canada.Pay-$1.00 per day for single men. $1.60 per day for married men. Uniform - Khaki as worn by overseas troops, including Boots, Sox, Shirts, Underwear, &c.Enlistment is for the duration of the war for Home Service only in Canada.Camp will be at Barriefield near Kingston.The regiment will be called the 14 th C.D.F.And is being recruited with the support of the 4th Hussars, the 14 th Regiment, Kingston, and the 47th Frontenac Regiment. Companies composed of Country men will be commanded by Country Officers.For further information apply to the Officer Commanding, Lt.-Col.
