資料の解説

史書、史学書(注釈書、写本も含む)を著した、古代から明治まで約200人の人名録。五十音順に配列され、人名の後に、著作、出自、職位、生没年等が記されている。史書の内容ではなく、その著者に焦点を当てたもの。巻末には『六国史』をはじめ、『古事記』など主要な史書がおおむね年代順にあげられている。全丁が鴎外の自筆であり、朱書で補足、訂正が見られる。扉として用いられている第1丁には「国史家名録初稿本」とある。制作年は不明。(渋)
