姫路城主酒井家の大金奉行山本三右衛門の殺害をめぐって、その子である宇平・りよと、弟の九郎右衛門による仇討ちの経緯を記した書。本書の成立経緯は不明だが、『天保雑記』巻五の成立と密接な関係があるように思われる。鴎外は『護持院原の敵討』を書く際に、本書に多く依拠している。(出)
