頼山陽の門人、関藤藤陰《せきとうとういん》の遺文集『藤陰舎遺稿』(1911年刊)を抄写したもの。『伊沢蘭軒』には藤陰と山陽伝中の登場人物、関五郎を同定するやや長い考証があり、他の部分でも本書を頻繁に参照している。鴎外のノートは人名部分が多く、欄外に「阿部正弘為老中」、「山陽歿」などの周辺情報、さらに朱筆で年齢などの訂正が書き加えられている。(多)
