画像の解説: 生後半年内外の幼児。仰臥屈葬、南東頭位の遺体の上に植物性の容器を被せ、それを百数十枚のホッキ貝で覆い、さらに周囲を厚さ5cmの砂のかたまりで包んだものと報告されている。『下巻』別篇p.12 Fig.7はこの写真をトリミングしたものと考えられる。写真右側にオホーツク墓21号の発掘終了時の状態が写っている。
