解説：8号竪穴の開口部壁際西部で検出された炭化材の様子。樹皮を壁面に当て、その内側に丸太の外皮部分を用いた板材を、外皮を内側に向けて立てて並べていた様子が確認できる。板材は幅15cm〜20cm前後のトドマツである。

comment：Carbonized wood found in the western area of the wall of the opening side wall of Pit House 8. It can be seen that the wall was covered with pieces of bark, and inside them wooden boards—made by splitting logs—were arranged with the outer surface facing inward. The material is 15 to 20 cm wide boards of Abies sachalinensis.
