画像の解説: 11号（木槨墓）の上部で確認された葺石の検出状況。葺石の長軸は「人骨埋葬の頭位北西と一致」するとされる（『下巻』別篇p.24）。葺石の手前に土器（刻文系土器）が置かれているが、報告では「葺石のほぼ中央部の上面に土器を1個ふせて置いた形跡があるが破損している」（『下巻』同上）とされており、土器を葺石の上から外した状態で撮影した可能性もある。
