解説:8号竪穴でも建て替えがおこなわれていたことが確認されている。これは竪穴長軸上の開口部側、写真31の床面のわずかに下層から検出された角礫の集中である。古い段階の竪穴に伴う可能性が高いと考えられたが、遺構の性格等は不明である。

comment:It has been confirmed that there was a reconstruction at Pit House 8. This photograph shows a concentration of gravel found from directly below the floor (opening side of the long axis) of Photograph 31. The gravel is considered to belong to the early stage of the pit house, but the function is not yet known.
