資料の解説

伊藤仁斎の子孫に関する系図であり、全丁が鴎外の自筆にかかる。仁斎の長男である東涯の家と、次男である梅宇の家との2部に分けて整理されており、それぞれ柱に「上」、「下」と記されている。『伊沢蘭軒』その三百三十七には、仁斎の末裔についての言及があるが、たとえば仁斎から数えて7代目にあたる顧也と琢弥の兄弟に関しては、「琢弥は京都の宗家を継いで歿し、琢弥の兄顧也さんは現に幼姪の後見をしてゐる」と述べられている。これと同じ内容が、本書の「下」第4丁にも記されており、『伊沢蘭軒』の執筆にあたって作成あるいは参照された資料であったと知られる。(出)
