書家・書体について、鴎外が複数の文献から抜粋筆写したノートである。前半は、源東江、通称沢田文治郎著『書述』から書体の種類や書論の論者を抜書したものである。源東江は江戸時代の書道家・儒学者であり、『伊沢蘭軒』その二十二で蘭軒と交友のあった渡辺東河の師として言及されている。後半の「筆道流儀分」と題された系図は、古筆了仲の『筆蹟流儀景図』を写したものであり、鴎外による何らかのチェックの跡と思われる△や×などの印が付されている。(目)
