解説：竪穴開口部の壁際で検出された小規模な骨塚。写真奥側に炭化した壁材が確認できる。出土した動物骨はクマの四肢骨が中心で、ほかにクマの体幹骨やアザラシの骨も含まれていた。土器片や骨器も少数出土している。

comment：Small bone mound found near the wall of the opening side of Pit House 8. Carbonized wood boards of the wall can be seen in the back of the photograph. The majority of the animal bones were brown bear (Ursus arctos) long bones, but there were also brown bear trunk bones and seal (Phocidae) bones. A few pottery fragments and bone artifacts were also found.
