解説：9c号竪穴の奥壁部で検出された骨塚。写真奥が奥壁側。約2m×1.3mの範囲に動物骨などが確認された。骨は細かい骨片が散っているような状況で、最下層のクマの下顎骨以外のほとんどの骨は動物種の同定が困難であった。動物骨のほかに、土器や石器も出土した。

comment：A bone mound found in the innermost area of Pit House 9c. To the back of the photograph is the innermost side. Animal bones were found in an area measuring about 2 m × 1.3 m. Because finely crushed bone fragments were scattered around, it was difficult to identify the species of animal bones without those of brown bear (Ursus arctos) jawbones found in the lowest layer.
