内容記述: Why Another Victory Loan?Some of the Needs:1.-To meet the expenses already incurred in in bringing the boys home form Overseas.2.-To meet the payment of soldiers not yet demobilized, including 20,000 sick and wounded in hospitals.3.-To meet the expenses of upkeep of hospitals until the need is over.4.-To pay gratuities to soldiers to tide over the period between discharge and readjustment to civil life.5.-To enable those who desire to settle on the land to do so. (Over 29,000 applications to August 15th).6.-To enable those who desire to take up vocational training to do so.7.-To facilitate the export of our Products by enabling Canada to carry out her national shipbuilding and transportation development.8.-To loan to provincial Housing Commissions the money required for the construction of moderate priced houses.9.-To extend credits to Great Britain to enable her to purchase the products of our farms, forests, fisheries, mines and factories.Such orders are absolutely essential for the continuance of our agricultural and industrial prosperity. The extent of these orders and the amount of employment created will depend on the success of the Victory Loan, 1919.If Canada does not give credit, other countries will, and they will get trade and employment that should be ours.
