解説:骨斧と呼ばれる板状の骨器も、オホーツク文化に特徴的な製品の一つである。写真の例はいずれも柄を装着するための抉りや突起を有しており、下端部は刃のような形状を呈する。これらは土掘り具であったと考えられている。

Comment:Implements made of bone plate, which is also representative of the Okhotsk culture. All of the examples in the figure have a neck and a projection for mounting to a haft, and the bottom edges have the form of a blade. These are considered to be tools for digging the ground.
