解説:遺跡群は段丘の全面に拡がっているが、段丘の周辺部には密度が高い地点が3ヶ所あり、それぞれ名称が付けられている。写真中央がトコロチャシ跡遺跡、その右隣の林が同オホーツク地点、写真右手の林の内部がトコロチャシ南尾根遺跡である。

comment:The site covers the whole area of the river terrace, and three locations around the terrace have a high density of archaeological sediments. The central area in the photograph shows the Tokoro-chashi Site, the forest to the right of that is the Okhotsk Locality of the Tokoro-chashi Sites, and part of the area inside the forest to the right is called the Tokoro-chashi Minamione Site.
