解説:砂岩を球状に加工した石器で、オホーツク文化では、こうした径3cm〜6cm程の石弾がほかにも見つかっている。これらは鳥類の捕獲用として、投石帯を用いて投げる弾、もしくは玉付きの投げ縄(ボーラ)の錘として用いられたと考えられている。

Comment:Stone tool created by making sandstone spherical. This kind of stone tool with a diameter of three to six centimeters is evident in Okhotsk culture. These are considered to be a gaming stone used with a slingshot or as a weight attached to ropes like a bola.
