解説:宇津内Ⅱa式土器には、時期が新しくなるにつれて器面に付される貼付文が発達する傾向が認められる。また、土器の正面と側面で文様の意匠や口縁部の突起の形状が異なってくるという変化も生じる。

Comment:Utsunai Ⅱa type pottery shows a tendency to have developed appliqué decoration with the passage of time. Another change is that the front and the side of the pottery become different in terms of the design of the patterns and in the shape of the rim projection.
