榊原政岑についての系図・年譜などを鴎外が抄写したもの。榊原政岑は江戸中期の播磨国姫路藩主。徳川吉宗の倹約令に背いて、高尾太夫を身請けするなど贅沢な生活を送り、隠居を命じられて越後高田に転封された。鴎外旧蔵の『古今史料高尾考』(鴎H20:545)の榊原高尾の項には、「寛政六年五月廿八日七十一歳」に鴎外の筆と見られる傍点が打たれており、榊原高尾事件への関心がうかがえる。本書の2丁には、同時期に享保の改革に反対して隠居させられた尾州公徳川宗春の系図も記されている。(小)
