解説:北大式土器は続縄文時代晩期の土器である。器種は深鉢形を主体とするが、注口や片口の付いた鉢形土器などもみられる。刻線文が施されたこの例は、北大式の中でも相対的に新しい時期に属しており、道東部では珍しい出土例となる。

Comment:Hokudai type pottery was developed during the Final Epi-Jomon period. The main form is the deep bowl, but there are some other forms such as a shallow bowl with a pouring lip. This example, with its incised lines, belongs to the latter group of the Hokudai type, which was not evident in eastern Hokkaido.
