解説:北大式土器は北海道の全域に分布するほか、東北地方にも出土例がある。本例は青森県八戸市で発見されたもので、続縄文時代晩期の北海道と東北北部の交流を示す資料といえる。個人からの寄贈資料である。

Comment:Hokudai type pottery spread not only all over Hokkaido, but also there are some examples found in the Tohoku region. This sample was unearthed in Hachinohe-shi, Aomori Prefecture, which suggests a cultural interchange between Hokkaido and northern Tohoku. Donated by a private benefactor.
