解説:北筒式トコロ6類土器は、器形は円筒形で、胎土に繊維を多く含む。口縁部には断面が三角形の肥厚帯があり、4個以上の山形突起を有する。肥厚帯の下には円形文がめぐっている。この例の地文は斜行縄文で、底部にも円形文を有する。

Comment:Hokuto (Tokoro-6-rui) type pottery has a cylindrical form and is fiber tempered. The rim is thickened with a triangular section and has more than four wavy projections, and circular patterns runs under the rim. The cord-markings on the body were made by rolling a piece of cord crosswise, and the piece also is decorated with circular patterns near the base.
