解説：刃厚が唐鍬（とうぐわ）より薄いことから、畑作業全般に万能的に使われた打ち引き鍬で、金属製の平面な刃に柄を固定する角櫃（かくひつ）をつけるためのフランジを有していることから、比較的新しい時代の金風呂鍬（かなふろぐわ）の一種と考えられる。
