Comment：A spindle is a tool to twist fiber and wind thread. It is a typical artifact of the Satsumon culture, and it indicates the influence of an agricultural society. These samples, having a trapezoid section, are decorated with patterns of punctuations and incised lines on the upper surface and on the edge.
