解説:鈴谷式土器は、続縄文時代後期前後のサハリン中部から北海道北端部を中心に分布する土器である。櫛歯文土器と縄線文土器の二つのタイプがあり、これは後者に属する。戦前の旧樺太多蘭泊で出土したもので、個人からの寄贈資料である。

Comment:Susuya type pottery spread from central Sakhalin to the northern end of Hokkaido around the Late Epi-Jomon period. There are two types, comb-marked pottery and cord-marked pottery, and this is an example of the latter type. It was excavated at Kalinino/Tarandomari on Sakhalin Island when it belonged to Japan. Donated by a private benefactor.
