資料の解説

文化9年(1812)出版の滝沢馬琴作の読本で、本書は明治17年(1884)の活字本。鴎外により、全丁にわたって傍線やカギ括弧が付されており、熟読していたことがうかがえる。巻之下の表見返しに登場人物の一覧を記した「姓氏略目」が書入れられており、その中に「甲申歳三月望後一日夜燈下記」とあることから、明治17年、鴎外23歳の時の読書と分かる。(小)
