解説: 料理屋の引札をもじった摺り物。むき身が「打身」、即席御料理が「即席御りやう治（御療治）」、仕出しが「火出し」、鰻飯が「市地うなんき（市中難儀）めし」、どじょう汁が「どうせう（どうしよう）汁」など、もじりづくしになっている。「御披露」として述べられている口上の内容は、地震について伝えるというよりは、料理屋の引札をいかにもじるか、ということに主眼が置かれているように思われる。看板の行灯に見られる「なまず大かばやき（鯰大家破焼）」は、他の安政地震関係の摺り物にも、よく見られるもじりである。この摺り物は数多く摺られたらしく、石本巳四雄コレクションの中にも、ここ掲げたものの他に、墨摺りで版の異なるものと、色摺りのものの三種が確認できる。【湯浅淑子】

Ishimoto Mishio Collection
These materials were collected by Ishimoto Mishio (1893-1940), the second director of the Earthquake Research Institute, including Kawaraban (tile block print newspaper in Edo period) , Nishiki-e (woodblock color prints) and newspaper supplements, which were published mainly at the time of disasters.
