解説：藤本編年では「i」以降、宇田川編年（1980）では後期〜晩期に属する土器である。口縁部には刻文が矢羽状にめぐり、胴部には5〜7条の沈線を単位とする鋸歯文がめぐる。外面には被熱の痕跡が認められる。

Comment：A Type i pottery or the later than that according to Fujimoto’s chronology (1972), or the Late to Final Satsumon period according to Utagawa’s chronology (1980). A herring-bone decoration is marked by notches on the rim, and a zigzag pattern consisting of five to seven incised lines encompasses the body. Some parts of the surface show that the pot was heated.
