解説:石刃鏃石器群は、縄文時代早期後葉の道東を中心に分布する。押圧剥離によって作られた薄く長狭な石刃を素材として石鏃、彫器、削器などの道具を製作することが特徴である。石刃製の石鏃を作る技術は東北アジアに広く認められる。

Comment:The technology of the ‘Blade Arrowhead Industry’ spread throughout eastern Hokkaido during the late Initial Jomon period. The features of this toolkit include tools such as arrowheads, burins and side scrapers with thin narrow blades made by pressure flaking. The technique of creating arrowheads from blades was seen widely around northeastern Asia.
