Comment:Carbonized wooden artifacts are often found in Okhotsk pit dwellings that were burnt down. This specimen is a large ladle, which was unearthed on a large wooden container measuring more than 90 centimeters sited on the house floor. It could have been a cooking tool being part of a set with the large container.
